LORDE: my life rn. She's so good and her voice is like listening to a song on the piano were e v e r y note (don't know much about music) is played the exact time it should be played. And the lyrics is mesmerizing, cuz the topics are so real and relatable. But it still fascinates me how she can turn a break-up song to a dance-y one. Green Light is one of her most famous songs, and it's about a break-up?! Yeah, that's what I mean. It's perfectly and amazingly good, not at all a sad song that makes u depressed (sorry Lana).
(Side note: I'm gonna start to write about everyday things. Like how happy I am before, during and after the times I spend time with my partner in crime. Like how I feel after studying for 3 hours for an exam, which I'm still not sure I'm getting a good grade on. Or like how annoyed I get sometimes cuz I just don't agree with them.)
Anyway, backk to the queen herself. The songs are real good and really real in a way, ordinary things that probably a lot of us have felt. Like when they only want to talk to or meet you when they need something from you, as if I'm gonna keep spending time with you?! Her songs are feel-good songs, and when you're listening to her bossy af lyrics and melodies you feel on top of the world. Personal reminder: remember to always try to feel this way: you are so gr8 when u do!
